Consider toning down on your high intensity workouts. You may think you’re up to a workout with lifting heavy weights, a long run over five miles or other intense workouts that may create an extra strain on your body. As we age, our bodies are not normally able to have the same level of workout intensity as we may have been able to do when we were younger. So, keep in mind it is important to keep active and move as we age, but we need to do what is best for our bodies as we age in order to stay healthy.
